The Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Jackery, the Offshore Technology Conference, or any other third party. Sponsor is the sole entity collecting and processing entry data.
Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, contractors, and agents of Sponsor and its parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates, as well as the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children, and grandparents) and members of the same household of any such individual, are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins at 8:00 a.m. Central Time on May 4, 2026 and ends at 5:00 p.m. Central Time on May 7, 2026 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes.How to Enter
During the Sweepstakes Period, scan the QR code displayed at Sponsor’s booth at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, Texas, or visit microgridpower.com/giveaway directly, and complete the online entry form. You will be required to provide your full name, business email address, telephone number, company, and job title, and to affirm that you have read and agree to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
Limit: One (1) entry per person. Duplicate entries by the same individual will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, late, illegible, fraudulent, or non-conforming, or that are submitted by macro, script, robotic, or other automated means, are void. Any entrant attempting to enter through fraudulent means will be disqualified. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed the entrant.Drawing
On or about May 13, 2026, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period using a random number generator. The drawing will be witnessed and documented in a Drawing Log. Sponsor will select one (1) winner (the “Winner”) and up to three (3) ranked alternates. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Entrants need not be present at the conference or at the time of the drawing to win.Prize
One (1) Jackery HomePower 3600 Plus (Basic) portable power station, with an Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of $2,799 USD. Only one (1) prize will be awarded. The prize will be shipped to a U.S. street address only; P.O. boxes and shipments outside the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia are not permitted. The prize is awarded “AS IS” without any express or implied warranty of any kind from Sponsor. Any manufacturer warranties are between the Winner and the manufacturer (Jackery). Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value if the prize as described becomes unavailable for any reason.Notification and Verification
Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential Winner by email and telephone at the contact information provided on the entry form within twenty-four (24) hours of the drawing. To claim the prize, the potential Winner must execute and return the following documents within seven (7) calendar days of the date of the first notification attempt:
• an Eligibility Affirmation and Release;
• a completed IRS Form W-9; and
• (optionally) a separate Publicity Release, the execution of which is not a condition of receiving the prize.
Failure to respond within the seven (7) day period, return of the notification or prize as undeliverable, refusal to provide required documentation, or non-compliance with these Official Rules will result in forfeiture of the prize, and Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, award the prize to the next ranked alternate (subject to the same notification and verification process), continue through up to three (3) alternates, or elect not to award the prize. The potential Winner may be required to present a valid government-issued photo identification before the prize is shipped.Taxes
All federal, state, and local taxes (including income tax) on the prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner. Because the ARV exceeds $600, Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC to the Winner reporting the prize as miscellaneous income, and Sponsor will collect a completed IRS Form W-9 prior to shipment. The completed Form W-9 will be transmitted by encrypted means to Sponsor’s finance team and stored separately from marketing systems.Publicity
Tier 1 — Standard Announcement. By accepting the prize, the Winner consents to Sponsor’s use of the Winner’s first name, last initial, and employer or company name in connection with announcing the Sweepstakes results, on Sponsor’s website, social media channels, internal communications, and customary marketing materials, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. The Winner may opt out of this Tier 1 announcement by indicating the same on the Eligibility Affirmation and Release; an opt-out will not affect the Winner’s right to receive the prize.
Tier 2 — Extended Publicity. Any use by Sponsor of the Winner’s full name, photograph, video likeness, voice, or quoted statements in marketing or publicity materials requires the Winner’s separate, written consent in the form of a Publicity Release. Execution of the Publicity Release is voluntary and is not a condition of receiving the prize.Privacy and Use of Information
Sponsor will collect, store, and use personal information provided by entrants (including the categories listed in Section 4) to administer the Sweepstakes, verify eligibility, fulfill the prize, comply with tax and recordkeeping obligations, and for Sponsor’s own marketing and business purposes, in each case as described in these Official Rules and in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at microgridpower.com/privacy-policy. Sponsor retains Sweepstakes records (including the entry list, Drawing Log, signed releases, IRS Form W-9, and IRS Form 1099-MISC) for seven (7) years.
Notice to California Residents. Sponsor does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, Sponsor may share or disclose personal information with affiliates and marketing partners for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising, which constitutes a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, AND SOME OF THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.Governing Law; Dispute Resolution
